Franklin D. Roosevelt help the United States go through World War 2 and Great Depression. He was a central figure of the 20th century during a time of worldwide economic crisis and world war. He was the 32nd president and stayed for two terms (1933-1945), but he died shortly after he was elected for the 2nd time. His Vice President, Harry Truman, took his place.

 
Harry Truman took Roosevelt's place when he died. He was the 33rd president of the United States. He went through many challenges while he was president. Truman faced many domestic, challenging affairs. He was again re-elected in 1948.
